hong kong trip

kami buat family gathering for hari raya di hong kong. anak-anak, menantu dan cucu-cucu cikgu rohana. sebab dapat tiket murah dan kebetulan masa hari raya semua cuti jadi senanglah kami nak rancang trip kali ni.

from penang my family, opah,mimi, nana and anis. we all park kereta kat airport penang rm 20 per day.

flight from penang departed at 6am and arrived at hong kong international airport 3 hours and 40 minutes after departure. sampai hong kong we waited for the kl people to arrive and while waiting kami dapatkan octopus card for each and everyone since kami travel sendiri dan akan menggunakan public transport. octopus card ni macam touch and go. HKD 150 for adult with HKD 50 as deposit and preloaded with HKD100. for kids kena hkd 70 with preloaded value of HKD 20. kalau tak cukup kena top up later.

frm airport we took A21 bus route to mongkok area. kita dah pre booked hostel kat area mongkok and have prepared for the worst situation since from what we have read bilik2 kat hong kong ini sangatlah kecilnya. we booked 2 rooms for 5 pax in each room with ensuite private bath.. hahahha tajuk macam canggih. and we were charged HKD 100 per pax per nite. lebeh kurang rm 50 sorang. the hostel turned out to be ok. not bad for a hostel. i'm kinda impressed jugak dengan cleanliness of the hostel..betul2 memuaskan.

so after check inn kami berjalan2 ke ladies market and area sekitarnya. after that took a mtr to tsim sa tsui to find halal food. kat sini ada tempat nama chungking mansion memang banyak muslim food. ada kowloon mosque jugak kat area nih. the food price boleh tahan la. for a kebab the cost is arpound HKD 35 each. nasik beriani set HKD 40. hahhaha nasib baik bawak food banyak from mesia.

we all kat area tst till malam cos at nite kat avenue of stars tuh boleh tengok a symphony of lights show every nite at 8pm. sementara ada masa we took a star ferry to hong kong island. sekejap saja tak sampai 15 minutes pon. for a return ticket the cost is approximtely HKD 5.(upper deck).

pukul 8pm we all dah tunggu kat avenue of stars and the show lasted for 14 minutes. we headed back home to prepare for a second day adventure.

DAY 2






hari nih memang kami dah plan nak spent the whole day kat disneyland. bangun awal makan siap siap. lepas tuh pegi beli tiket kat admin hostel nih. they have discounted disneyland tickets. takla murah mana instead of 350 HKD for adult we got 330 HKD and 140HKD for aiman instead of 150HKD. hanna and arissa tak beli tiket pon. hanna yet to be 3. arissa is smaller than hanna so we just cincai.

from hotel we took mtr to disneyland. cari sampai ada disneland resort line. yang ketapi nya sedikit exclusive dengan cermin gamba mickey and other disney decorations.

sampai-sampai disneyland tak bukak lagi. cuaca panas sangat. we were amongst the first to enter and yet dalam dok terhegeh hegeh tuh tak sempat nak que to take pictures with mickey and minnie.

we spent one whole day check out from disneyland around 9pm

selamat hari raya

selamat hari raya aidilfitri 2009.

tahun ni kami sekeluarga berhari raya di kuala kubu baru.

theme colour for this year is black.

pagi-pagi lagi me dah tension ngan hubby cos malam before raya i.e last nite he went out with his fren lepak and all and he left me with his two children kat umah. memangla umah mentua sendiri and we all pont bukannya baru kawen hehhehe but i was stuck with my two kids and very sleepy and still could'nt figure out where to sleep and most importantly how on earth to force these 2 kids who is overly exicited with their cousins to sleep. terus got headache and consequently bangun pagi dengan keadaan tension.

the best thing is the next morning my beloved hubby boleh tanye ngape tension..wahai kaum lelaki adakah kamu sekelian sememangnya tidak dapat mengagak sebabnya or sengaja buat2 tak dapat agak. for me the reason is quite obvious. hahahaha takdela tension sangat saja suka buat drama di pagi raya.

anyhow sebagai menunjukkan protes up till now i have'nt change my raya attire. so no family picture to be posted. sorry.

however lama manalah me boleh protest. after this going to kl meet up with his grandma. so better put on my glamer raya attire and stop protesting. after all raya datang setahun sekali.

tercari-cari semangat raya

hari jumaat; last day kerja before raya. ramai yang dah ada kat kampung halaman. since i'm here in kampung halaman... memang tak cuti lagi. head off to office ingatkan keja suma dah settle, unfortunately ada one job pending. being a very generous and considerate boss gave my staff half day off.. dalam usaha untuk mencari semangat raya untuk diri sendiri...

balik umah b4 lunch and thought that the matters have been settled.

why so rushing to go back home? hahahhaha bibik sudah balik.. smalam ngantar di bandara penang. hmmm 1st day without bibik..patutla semangat raya pudar.. takpe rileks..

so after semayang jumaat pegi tukar duit ..ehhehe bukan duit raya tukar duit kat money changer.. nak bagi foreign currency for duit raya ke? ahahhahaha tungggu.....

dah nak balik umah this bank officer called. needed to go back to the office. the empty office cos generous me dah bagi me staff balik muahahhahahhaha

since dah generous kan kesian pulak nak suruh staff pegi office buat itu ini plus me needed to be there to darft the letter.. so lastly me stuck at me office till 5pm in the evening..sangat sunyi dan sayu rasa hati. seperti diperantauan pulak.ahaks.so sapa kata keje sendiri nih best sangat memerlukan kesabaran tau....

so okla in the end me masih tercari cari semangat raya yang masih tiada..adakah dibawa pulang ke indonesia oleh bibik????....

16th september

bangun pagi hati dah rasa tak best, although raya is just few days away. mana pergi semangat dan jiwa raya? hilang bersama masalah-masalah yang nak kena fikir before and after raya.

what are the problems: at this point in time my main concern is that bibik is going back for good after 3+years with us. after 3+ years of melemakkan myself of not having to think much about my domestic housework.

i have "ordered" for a replacement maid but it is not as easy at it sounds especially nowdays bila kerjaya maid itu begitu dimartabatkan di mata rakyat indonesia. i think the agent in indon is purposely delaying the arrival of my replacement maid. hanya tuhan yang tahu kenapa dokumen masih belum tiba. anyways i have been preparing myself to the worst situation; no replacement maid forever and have figure out few solutions and is praying hard that the solution that has been playing in my mind would work.

other problem: nak bayar gaji dan sedikit duit raya for my staff. gaji tuh okla memang kena bayar mungkin bayar awal sedikit.. duit raya tuh.. berapa nak bagi....hahhahaha dengan kegawatan ekonomi sekarang dan kegagalan menghubungi client untuk melunaskan hutang2 amat membebankan. tambah pulak lepas raya nih nak settle all those mak nenek my professional licence punya fees for the next year insurance and all.....

no wonder i have no mood for raya....

untuk menambahkan bebanan; just found out that my company dia not get to be in the panel for new phase of this particular housing project...hahahhahahaha

untuk menyedapkan hati.. nak buat camana bukan rezeki. mungkin allah merencanakan something better for us...

hari ni jugak harijadi arwah ayah. supposedly his 63rd birthday. ayah pergi meninggalkan kami when he was 46. 17 years has passed.
