my first attempt conquering china. went to Guangzhou in august 2009.
went there with one friend and two sister.
we were a bit blur for a moment as those people do not speak English at all. and those print outs from the Internet is no use at all unless it's written in Chinese. we were misdirected to the hotels and by the time we check in to the hotel all of us were exhausted. it was soooo hot. and you can see some Chinese people move around topless (man only ok).
found this in Beijing street. a very famous street for tourists. it was preserved for history i guess but am not sure haw far it's true.
that big building over there is full of clothing mostly for wholesale. they do sell in small quantity but the price would be different then.
maksudnya? nasib baik sign mc d still the same sign. noo noo we cannot eat mc donald's (just in case if you are curious)
another building waiting to be explored
tak cukup building there's an underground too. and the underground also got levels ok
and yet another building
as i have mentioned earlier most of the people here do not speak English and even they have signage that is written in English well it would be something like this.
it's quite easy to find halal food as they are quite a number of Chinese Muslim in Guangzhou. nasik ini amat sedap dimakan sebab dimakan ketika kelaparan yang amat sangat.
mee ala ala mee sup but chinese style. the taste: so so lah.
nasik paprik kot. hehhe. the best thing is although they cannot speak english but in this particular restaurant they put up the pictures of the food dekat menu nya. so nya we need to point the most tempting dishes in the menu and the outcome were as above.
pembuat mee.
underwear pon ada one big mall for it?
it was quite an experience for us to visit guangzhou and exploring it on our own. it is relatively safe for us to travel around and the mtr/mrt/lrt system is quite systematic. but no taxi please unless you can speak chinese.
