Ipoh

We had a quick getaway to ipoh last weekend. Ayah had work to do and since we wanna spend weekend together we decided that kids can skipped school on sunday and thus accompany ayah to ipoh. We had fun since kids got to meet their cuzzin in ipoh. 

Sempat berbasikal lagi. Hahaha ok ciao

Koh Lipe

We went to Koh Lipe during cny holidays. Kids tak cuti panjang pun so elok la the short break to lipe.

We started our journey after subuh from sp. It took nearly 2 hrs for us to reach wang kelian boarder. This is our first time masuk thailand through wang kelian boarder. Sebelum ni masuk through bukit kayu hitam and padang besar only.

Since it was thursday there were almost no other people entering the boarder. It is usually crowded during saturday and sunday when the boarder is open for tourist to enter without any documentation.

After going through immigration checks we stopped by for some pulut ayam. Since it was still early since we are in thailand hence the one hour delay, we arrived in thailand at 7.30 thailand time.

Lepas makan terus drive ke pak barra to catch the ferry. Kami tak beli teket pun lagi. Sampai sana baru pi beli teket. You can survey a few ticketing and boat company. We opted for bundhaya speed boat services. Dapat rm 90 return for adult and rm70 for children. Katanya satu jam setengah naik boat

Ya kena bayar lagi sorang 20 bhat nak masuk pier dia. Kids tak payah bayaq. The ferry ride was terrifying for me. Adoiii sakit kepala nak muntah segala lah. It took em more than 2 hrs to reach lipe. Sampai lipe they will transfer us into a platform regardless you naik ferry or speed boat. From there you have to pay entrance to lipe ticket for 30 bhat and long tail boat ticket to ferry you to the island for 50 bhat. Dekat je pun tapi tak bolehla berenang.

This beach is called the pattaya beach. The most happening beach. Tapi banyak boat sangat sampai kacau kalau nak mandi manda and all.

 Nothing much sold at the walking street. Mostly food and drinks and a bit of sovenirs and clothings. We stayed at bangroon new room. Quite expensive. Would rather find a room in sunrise beach. Lagi cantik. Ok enjoy the piccas.
